This unit will give you everything you need to differentiate instruction for teaching the butterfly life cycle.  With real photos of different stages and a variety of methods to demonstrate understanding, this set of tools makes teaching the 4 stages (egg, caterpillar, chrysalis, and butterfly) easy.  They are perfect for teaching the alternate or extended standards for science

Slide Show / Presentation: Students are exposed to the life cycle and facts about butterflies in a PowerPoint you can show with a projector or on a computer. Students can also read it on a tablet.

Interactive book (can be printed in 2 sizes).

Flip Books: Color and black-and-white referencing the life cycle along with facts about each stage. 

Mini-Book: Black and White for students to color; Color version for teacher example

Sequencing Sheets: 10 versions of tasks for students to sequence the life cycle of butterflies including one you can laminate with color pictures, a black and white version for cut and paste and multiple versions students write on with and without pictures.

Worksheets – Tests: Versions with symbols to assist in reading, with symbols for answering or simply written and fill-in-the blank for students who can read and write more successfully.
